Seriously, how beautiful was the weather today? With the seasons in transition, I’m paying more attention to the weather. Right about this time of the year I am dying for fall weather. Because, you know, with fall weather comes the beginning of a string of the best holidays. The only day where I won’t feel guilty for completely overindulging on Twix. Then followed by a day where I allot myself nap time to sleep off my overeating. And Christmas!!!! You know what, I won’t get started on that….for now I just want to appreciate these last few weeks of beautiful weather. Come february, I KNOW there will be a day that I die a little inside before walking outside to heaps of snow and weather in the teens.
Lately I’ve been noticing the seemingly insignificant details, the minutiae of my life. These things have made me stop and think about what it means to find happiness…
For example, rainbow sprinkles. Tonight I went to get yogurt for desert. I topped my tart and tangy with rainbow sprinkles (and mini marshmallows, obviously!). All of the colors. In a dessert. So happy. So simple.
Ross from Friends. Lately I’ve been falling asleep to Friends. Ross has always been my favorite character on the show. His physical comedy and timing is on point. It makes me smile as I end my day.
American Apparel. I’ve only recently discovered this store and I LOVE it. Their clothes are so simple and cozy. While in Boston, I bought two shirts from American Apparel and today I wore a gray, deep V neck tee. So comfortable and cute. I could dress it up, wear it casually, or …even wear it to bed if I’m feeling pretty crazy! : )
