This wedding was incredibly beautiful and heartfelt. I had never been inside of the Scottish Right downtown. It was so breathtaking, SUCH an awesome place for a reception. I cry at every wedding. Truthfully. At this particular wedding I cried during the father of the bride’s speech. I sware it was like I dropped a water bomb. I ooze coolness. HUGE thank you to Megan Wynn for having me along to shoot! Megan, I always love shooting with you!
If you haven’t seen her work, take a minute to go check out her blog too.

Look closely, there a couple of doves in there

Here are a couple of moments that I never want to forget…

Oh hey porcelain skin! Luce is usually pretty camera shy, but today she was all about it! Maybe an early birthday present? ; )

BAM! Cuteness overload.

Splits. No big deal.

I love Rachel! AND her mom! (Thank you Annette for joining us today!)

I love Katie too : ) Lauren left before I brought my camera out. Boo : ( But, I love Lauren so much too!

This makes my heart ache a little with happiness.

Mama, I love you to the moon and back! You and Dad always know how to throw a mean party
XOXO

The other night I found myself going through old photo albums. While diving into memories of Keds, my fashionable mullet at the ripe age of 5 and my skinny eyebrow phase (there is no use in trying to deny it!), I came across this one particular album that documented my oldest brother’s birth. My mom had made it for her mom soon after Colin was born. It is one of the most beautiful stories I have ever seen through a series of photographs. I had to share.
It is so easy to lose sight of what is most important in life. These images literally forced me to stop and reboot. Reenergize. This love and happiness below, that’s what life is all about. Enjoy

My dad is so much more artistic then he lets on! Look at this photo, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I’d like to think I look this beautiful when I sleep.

This crib was my Dad’s when he was a little baby : )

Be still my beating heart. Mom, to me you are the most beautiful person in the entire world!

This right here is why I love photography. This moment is timeless. I get choked up every time I see this.

My beaming Dad…

Hey big bro! See ya 8 years from now!

Tiny footy, big hand!

Lastly, this is Colin with all of his presents on his very first Christmas.

LOVE YOU COLIN!
Goodbyes suck. No, really. And when you can cry at the drop of a dime, that doesn’t make anything easier. I never had anything against Arizona. Until it STOLE one of my best friends! You know what though Arizona, I’ll let it slide. You were pretty cool when I visited the Grand Canyon when I was 10. That was a while ago though. Although, now you’ve got Kali there. Hence you are infinitely cooler.
Kali moved to Arizona this past wednesday and I’m SUPER bumming out without her around. I took her out for a mini shoot early in the week. Here are a few of my favorites.
Kal, you are BEAUTIFUL! I miss you X’s a bazillion cupcakes and rice krispie treats too.

When I think of Kali, lots of times I see this in my head…. ☺
